Medical Explorer Program Post 9080
This program is a learning series for aspiring doctors and is open to High School Seniors with a GPA of 3.4 and above.
Previously, Medical Explorers from Althoff and O’Fallon High Schools learned about diabetes. They practiced insulin injections with saline and dissected a pig’s heart. Students got a close up look at the da Vinci Surgical System. Toured the emergency room and talked about what courses and requirements are necessary to get into medical school.
